The ride includes long gallops and steep terrains, so it is essential that riders have experience at all paces. It is required not to lie about your riding level.

Day 1

Departure

Two-day horseback riding tour through the landscapes of Segovia.

We'll visit the gardens of La Granja de San Ildefonso, passing by the Eresma River, the Pontón reservoir, and La Granja pine forest, with spectacular panoramic views.

The departure time will be around 10AM. The route for the first day is 25 kilometers, with a duration of 5 and a half hours.

Lunch
A sandwich and drink will be provided to the riders, which you will carry in the saddlebags.

Hotel
At the end of the route, we will return to the equestrian center and from there head to the Hotel San Antonio el Real (15th-century monastery, 4-star category). Each person will go to the hotel on their own, transportation is not included in the price.

Dinner

On Saturday, we will have dinner at the renowned Mesón Cándido restaurant, famous for its roasted suckling pig.

Day 2

Departure

Breakfast will be served at the hotel, and then we will continue the route, which circles the city of Segovia, offering stunning views of the Alcázar, the cathedral and the skyline of the walled city.

The route of the second day will be about 20 kilometers (5 hours).

Arrival

The approximate return time will be 5:30PM.

Riding material

Riding helmet (we can offer them).
Riding boots/sturdy.
Long pants or riding breeches.
Riding gloves for a better grip on the reins.
Backpack or saddle bags.

Material for the route

Water bottle.
Snacks and a sandwich for day 1 and 2.
Sunscreen.
Insect repellent.
Shirt or t-shirt.
Fleece lining, or light coat.
Hat or cap for sun protection.
Extra pair of socks for each day.
Long trousers/jeans.
Raincoat.
Toilet kit.

We recommend dressing in earth and ocher tones. By choosing natural colors, you can blend perfectly with the environment and obtain classic and timeless photos.

Price

The price of the route is 465€ per person, the groups are of minimum 4 people, you can come alone or with someone else, the price includes:

Horseback riding guide.
Horses.
Horse saddle and bridle.
Dinner and breakfast.
Night at the shelter.
Transport of luggage to the shelter.

A non-refundable price per person will be charged for the reservation. If a single room is desired, it will incur an additional charge of 40€.

All the services related to the route and the client will be contracted directly with the Hipica Eresma (with address at Ctra. de Palazuelos Km.2, 40004, Segovia), both the rental of the horses and the accompanying guide, contracted directly by the Hipica Eresma SL, so the Hipica Eresma is responsible for any incident related to the hiring of horses, damages and losses of the clients of the route and their insurance will directly respond.
